The Carers Forum is a meeting of carers and the bodies that support them such as Social Services, Alzheimer's Society, health workers, etc.

Meetings are held quarterly and alternate between Market Harborough and Lutterworth. For details of locations, please click below:

At our Carers Forum on 25th September 2006 we have invited Deb Baker who is the Service Equality and Patient and Public Involvement Manager. She covers the Leicester General, Leicester Royal and Glenfield Hospitals. Deb Baker’s role is to provide advice to the Trust Board on what they need to do to ensure that all service users and carers are treated fairly. She also manages the Patient and Liaison Service and is directly responsible to the Director for Nursing.

Deb will be talking about her role and welcome’s any concerns you may have about the person you care for going into hospital.
